Our library workroom houses a portable air conditioner for our comfort as the library and workroom become very uncomfortable during extreme weather in summer months. It condenses humid air and needs the attention of being emptied of water when the bucket becomes full. Library monitors are asked to be aware of this process to ensure that it doesn't overflow.

We are all very appreciative of the low humidity it provides as it gets rather crowded in the workroom when we are altogether at recess and lunch. It makes the workroom a much more pleasant place in which to perform our library duties. Library monitors also appreciate the cooler temperature so they have a comfortable haven in which to relax when not on duty.
